Lebanon Valley College offers a practical, personal education that prepares smart, hard-working undergraduate and graduate students for personal and career success. This approach leads to a graduation rate among the top 10% of all schools in the U.S. Our staff in the Breen Center for Graduate Success works with students starting their first week to help them achieve their educational and professional goals. With a 10โ1 faculty-student ratio, thereโs no back of the classroom at LVC. Recently, six LVC students were named Fulbrights with awards taking them to Austria, Bulgaria, Hungary, Malaysia, South Korea, and Wales. Other prestigious recent awards include an Eben Tisdale Fellowship, Thomas R. Pickering Graduate Foreign Affairs Fellowship, Fund for Education Abroad Scholarship, NCAA Post-graduate Fellowships, and National Institute of Standards and Technology Fellowship. Students get hands-on experiences in preparation for careers through intensive scientific research, fieldwork, and classroom experiences with professors who actively work in their fields. Some students even participate in research with faculty during the summer before their freshman year through the Research First program. Students learn on LVCโs beautiful campus in historic Annville, Pa., about 10 miles from Hershey, half hour from the state capital of Harrisburg, and within three hours of Baltimore, Philadelphia, New York City, and Washington, D.C. LVC offers generous financial aid and merit awards: Nearly allโ99 percent ofโstudents in each class receive need-based grant and/or merit scholarship aid from LVC.
