The American Language Academy (ALA) does offer a limited number of scholarships to international students. Scholarships are very limited and highly competitive. Students interested in scholarships at the American Language Academy should reach out to the Admissions Office directly as there is no information posted about scholarships on their website.

North Dakota

North Dakota State University

North Dakota State University provides three different international student specific scholarships. The Academic and Cultural Sharing Scholarship offers undergraduate international students 50 percent off of the non-resident tuition rate, which is nearly a $10,000 saving based on the tuition rate for the 2016-2017 academic year. The Lorraine Murphy Endowed International Fund provides a limited number of one-time scholarships each academic year to international students who display global diversity and intercultural awareness. The Junior Senior Scholarship provides awards to currently enrolled undergraduate international students in their junior or senior year. The scholarship is 100 percent off of the base tuition non-resident rate. For more information about scholarships at North Dakota State University, click here.

New Jersey

Fairleigh Dickinson University

Fairleigh Dickinson University offers scholarships to undergraduate freshman, transfer, and graduate international students. Freshman applicants who are eligible can receive a full scholarship to cover tuition. Eligible transfer students may receive up to $16,000 and graduate students may received up to $10,000. Rutgers University

Rutgers University offers a limited number of scholarships to undergraduate international students. All admitted students are automatically considered for scholarship awards. Scholarships are limited and competitive. Students are encouraged to apply by either Early Action or Regular Action due dates. Early applicants are more likely to be awarded scholarships. The scholarships are awarded for four years of undergraduate education and students must maintain a 3.0 GPA. For more information about scholarships at Rutgers University, click here.

Felician University

Felician University offers a variety of scholarships to international students. Students that are accepted to Felician are automatically considered for a scholarship and an additional application is not necessary. Scholarships range from $4,500 to $18,500 per year for undergraduate international students. Over 90 percent of international students seeking a bachelor's degree receive a scholarship.
