Empowering Student Voices

Zoe from Vietnam reminds us that college is more than just books and lectures. “Participating in activities is a great way to know fellow students and get involved in student life at PCC!” she shares. Zoe’s journey highlights how engagement outside the classroom can lead to lasting friendships and a richer educational experience.

Maria from Venezuela made a strategic decision to begin her U.S. academic journey at PCC. “I liked the option of spending two years at college before transferring to a university, and I am so glad I took that decision!” PCC’s transfer-friendly environment empowers students to save time and money while setting a strong academic foundation.

Amina from Ukraine found her voice and her passion in PCC’s classrooms. “I studied Elementary Education and Political Science. I really enjoyed the amount of support I received from the History department and how they invited my cultural experiences into the class discussions.” Her experience reflects PCC’s dedication to cultural inclusivity and academic encouragement.

Vishnu from Singapore credits the Veterinary Technology program at PCC for both challenge and growth. “My classmates were very supportive and curious about me as an international student. The program was very competitive and I enjoyed the challenge.” PCC’s rigorous programs are balanced by a welcoming environment where students can thrive.

A Place to Belong

Nattie from Vietnam found a fast track to her goals: “I wanted to get a Bachelor degree in Business and PCC saved me 2 years!” With its robust academic advising and articulation agreements, PCC helps students accelerate their academic journeys without sacrificing quality.

Praise from Zimbabwe emphasized the accessibility of the college. “The application process is very easy and the OISS is here to help you when you need it.” PCC’s Office of International Student Services (OISS) is a key pillar of support, guiding students through applications, visas, and campus life.

Yuvraj from India gained more than a degree—he built a career foundation. “Working on campus gave me the chance to get involved in the PCC community.
